Free Rides; Free Delivery

The Stevens County Food Shelf is happy to announce free rides and delivery options for people who do not have transportation to the food shelf.
Residents of Morris may call the Morris Transit to schedule a ride with 2 hours advance notice. Please make sure that you only schedule rides for a time when the food shelf is open (see regular hours, below).
When you call to schedule a ride, tell them you are riding directly to the Food Shelf, and the ride will be free of charge. Rides should be scheduled two hours in advance, if possible, and must go directly to the food shelf without other stops in order to qualify for the free ride.
When you arrive, volunteers will provide a short form to allow visitors to select the items they would like. Volunteers will pack the requested items, and the Transit will return visitors to their home.
Stevens County residents outside of Morris may contact the Rainbow Rider for food delivery during our regular hours every day except Tuesday & Thursday, as our hours fall outside of Rainbow Rider operating hours on those days.
To receive a free delivery of food outside of Morris, call or email the Food Shelf to place a food request, and then call the Rainbow Rider to schedule your delivery day and time. Please place your food request at least one day in advance so that our volunteers have time to pack these items. The Rainbow Rider will deliver these items to your home.
There is no special paperwork required to visit the Stevens County Food Shelf. All are welcome.
